Ethyl Silicate-28 (TEOS)

Ethyl Silicate-28 is monomeric ethyl silicate which is also known as Tetra Ethyl Ortho Silicate (TEOS). Upon hydrolysis it yields 28 wt% silica and hence the name Ethyl Silicate-28. It has the following chemical formula
